Free entrances
The visit of the permanent collections of museums of the city of Paris is free for all (Le musée d’Art moderne, le Petit Palais - musée des Beaux-Arts, le musée Carnavalet, le musée Bourdelle, la maison de Balzac, le musée Cernuschi...). The visit of national museums is free for people under 26 years old who are residents of the European Union and for everyone on the 1st Sunday of each month.
National museums: Cité de l’Architecture, Arts asiatiques Guimet, Delacroix museums, Gustave-Moreau, Rodin, Louvre, Orangerie, Orsay, Quai Branly, Légion d’honneur museum, Middle Ages museum. 

Guided tours
Private guides, or associations organize tours of Paris, its museums and its monuments. You can find the dates, times, and prizes in L'Officiel des spectacles, Pariscope, or in "sortir" in the Télérama. 

Avoid the crowd
If you want to visit without waiting for hours, buy a ticket ahead of time by visiting the museum website (not available for all museums). You can also plan a visit at night.
