Situated at the Palais de Chaillot, opposite the Eiffel Tower, the Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine presents nearly 1,000 years of ornementations and architectural creations.
An 8,000 m² path invites visitors on a real journey among the treasures of French architecture and heritage, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
The museum also houses the Portail Royal of Chartres Cathedral, the painted dome of the life-size models, videos, drawings, etc. Guided tours, video guides, adapted itineraries for children help to fully appreciate prestigious masterpieces. The Cité also has a bookshop-shop and a cafe with a terrace and wonderful views of Paris.
